1. Does a blue screen mean my laptop is dying?
No — a blue screen is Windows deliberately stopping itself to prevent damage when it hits an error it can't recover from. It's a symptom to diagnose, not a verdict on the whole laptop.
2. Will I lose my files if my laptop keeps blue-screening?
Usually not directly — a blue screen itself doesn't erase your storage. The risk is indirect: if the underlying cause is a failing drive, that drive can eventually stop working. Back up your files if you can before it gets worse.
